Nancy Lucas, Au.D.

Dr. Nancy Lucas is a board certified and licensed audiologist. She not only does complete diagnostic assessment, tinnitus evaluation and sound therapy but also rehabilitative counseling and services to facilitate better hearing for her patients.

Dr. Lucas has been an audiologist for eighteen years starting with the Department of Veterans Affairs Fort Worth clinic. While there, she provided audiological services for thousands of our nation’s veterans. She also was involved in training and supervising audiology doctoral students. She has since worked in private practice before coming to Benke ENT.

Dr. Lucas believes she has a calling to practice audiology, “Growing up with deaf parents and a deaf sibling has given a special appreciation and insight of the impact hearing loss can have on individuals and their families. My priority is to improve each patient’s hearing according to their individual needs and preferences.” After a comprehensive evaluation of each patient, we discuss the various advanced technologies and capabilities that will better fit that patient’s hearing loss and lifestyle.

Dr. Lucas earned her doctorate degree in audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania and her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology and the American Tinnitus Association.

Josh Guerra, H.I.S.

Josh Guerra is originally from Waco, Texas and received his bachelors degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. He is a second generation hearing instrument specialist. His father has been a part of helping the hearing impaired for over 30 years in the Central Texas area. Josh is committed to providing the best service possible and keeping his patients up to date with the latest hearing instrument technology.

Sarah Wallace, Front Desk Reception

Sarah manages the front office and is the lead patient coordinator.  Originally from Graham, Texas, Sarah moved to Cleburne  from Florida with her husband and two children in 2013.  She loves Cleburne and being “home” again!  In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, crocheting and laughing (and if you’ve been to the office recently, you have probably heard her infectious laugh!).

Sherry Stanley, LVN

Sherry has worked at Benke ENT since 2001.  She is a LVN and manages the back office.  Sherry graduated from Hill College in Hillsboro and has been a nurse for 30 years.  She lives in Rio Vista with her husband of 22 years and has  two grown children.  Sherry enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and traveling.

Ellen Curlee, Billing Manager

Ellen started as a receptionist with Benke ENT in 2005.  She has truly grown with the company working as an occupational hearing specialist, medical scribe and now the billing manager.  Ellen and her husband are the proud parents of two active boys and they enjoy watching them play baseball.  She has lived in Cleburne for nearly 25 years and considers it her hometown.  Ellen recently started a home cookie baking business, Curleeque Sweets.  She loves sharing her creations with co-workers!

Heather Shinabery, Medical Assistant

Heather has been a medical assistant for 15 years.  She and her family relocated to Texas from Ohio two years ago.  Heather enjoys spending time outdoors tending to her garden and all things that grow!

Jenna Warren, Medical Assistant & Scribe

Jenna has been a medical assistant for 6 years and first worked at Benke ENT from 2009-2013.  she has recently returned as a medical scribe.  She has lived in the area for 18 years and loves Johnson County and the people here.  Jenna also loves spending time with family, listening to music, singing with her daughter and shopping with friends!
